There are a million different methods in which we can elevate our lives. Here are just three examples of how I have elevated my life. I hope this is helpful and I would love to hear about the methods you use to live the fullest life you deserve!
1. Comparison is a Joy Thief.
Social media is a highlights reel - no more, no less. Realize that it probably took your favorite Instagram star 25 shots and 7 filters to make them appear as if they are having the time of their lives. Truth is, they very well may not be. I want you to focus on having the time of YOUR life. I want you to focus on enjoying social media for what it is - entertainment. Not an avenue of comparison.
Don't live their lives, live YOUR life.

You are allowed, no matter what anyone may say, to forge your own path. Your path will not be carved from the same stone as your parents or your friends, or even your partner. I give you permission to follow that passion, to obey your instincts and to get moving!
When your dream life, your intentional path, whispers in your ear - listen.
3. Detachment is not merely walking away from the thoughts you own, it is about running away from the thoughts that own YOU.
Many times in my life I have found myself imprisoned on the hamster wheel on negative thoughts or, even better, thoughts that have no value/purpose. It can be difficult to jump off that circle of negative thinking but I have learned one trick that has helped me move forward without moving in circles.
I ask myself two questions, being: Am I at fault? or Am I responsible?
If I am not at fault and I am not responsible, then I must locate that kernel of internal strength I know exists and push past the negative thoughts that have placed me in a choke hold.
